		Human Resources	Where all the personal and employment information about every member of staff is held. Specifically a good HR system will also allow personnel to view their holiday use and entitlement and Management to record salary history and staff performance information. This is one of the base systems that make up an MIS.
		Project Management	If your business bids for a job and is paid based on the completion of that job then you have a project based company. A project Management system allows you to manage resources, milestones, deadlines, costs and planning. This needs the HR system.
		Contact and Correspondence	A system that records information about communications and is able to search and retrieve related information e.g. all the calls you have received from a particular company or person. Make your sales team more efficient.
		Materials and Expenses	It makes sense to keep track of all the overhead costs and the project related costs. However it becomes a powerful arm to the MIS when connected with the Project Management system.
